W przeciągu dwóch sezonów Blake Griffin będzie rywalizował z LBJ'em o miano najlepszego gracza w lidze. Atletyczny fenomen, świetny zbierający i doskonały obrońca to tylko niektóre z jego zalet. Nie bez przyczyny porównywany z Shawnem Kempem gdyż ich styl jest prawie identyczny. Musi poprawić swój rzut z dystansu ale patrząc na tego chłopaka i jego etykę pracy jestem pewny, że stanie się to w nie dłużej niż dwa sezony.

Amare to moim zdaniem wraz z Blakem Griffinem najlepszy silny skrzydłowy całej tej magicznej ligi. Tak jak mój poprzedni wybór, Carmelo Anthony jest świetnym ofensorem, tam zagra wszystko, zaczynając od prostego fadeaway kończąc na grze pick & rolli ze zmianami kierunkowymi. Umie rzucać z półdystansu i w miarę z dystansu, w tym jest lepszy od Griffina. Jednak jest strasznie słaby w defensywie. Często nawet ucieka z pod kosza, bojąc się kontaktu z zawodnikiem atakującym. W lato trafił do Nowego Jorku, a zimą dołączył do niego Carmelo Anthony. Jeżeli obaj dopracują obronę, stworzą świetny zespół na lata.

Osobiście nigdy go nie lubiłem jednak po grze w tegorocznym sezonie zacząłem go bardzo mocno szanować i z tąd ten wybór. Zdecydowany lider Dallas Mavericks, świetna gra w defensywie jak i w ataku. Mimo tego, że ma 213 cm wzrostu bardzo dobrze rzuca 3 co przy takim wzroście nie jest częstym zjawiskiem. W 2006 wygrał konkursu rzutów za trzy punkty podczas All Star Game w Houston.

Łatwo ogrywał Howarda w spotkaniu po meczu gwiazd, może to świadczyć o przyszłej zmianie na tronie centrów.
